All primary 5 classes are visiting the birthplace of John Muir in Dunbar as part of their Environmental Studies topic and their work towards achieving the John Muir Award.

He was ahead of his time in raising important issues of conservation and the chidren will be sharing what these are and how they found the visit

Photography Challenge October 22, 2008

Have you got what it takes to take a great photo?

Well here is a chance to find out. Pupils are  being asked to take a photo or bring one in from home to enter into the gallery in school. All photos will be displayed and then the best ones will be selected to enter a competition. So get out your cameras, take time to brush up yoeur knowledge and skills and get your creative juices flowing. Good Luck and we can`t wait to see them!

Remember the rule is your photo must have been taken by you!

RNLI Visit. September 30, 2008

On Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd October, all primary 5 pupils are going to visit the lifeboat station in North Berwick. The pupils have thought about lots of questions they would like to ask and hope to be able to interview the crew on the day. They will let you know how they got here by telling us 3 things they learned during the visit.

Primary 5 pupils presented a cheque to the Chest Heart and Stroke society today following a skipping craze which has gripped all stages of the primary school . Watch this space for video demonstrations of their many skills in this area!       Here are some examples of skipping-rhymes

P5 Basketball Festival September 26, 2008

Today, Thursday 25th September, teams of primary 5 pupils from every school in the North Nerwick Cluster played in a basketball festival, competing in mini games against each other for two solid hours. The event was run by Steven Duff and Marie Caer with the help of young people from Telford College. It was a magnificent display of the developing skills, team spirit and energy of all involved. A great time was had by all..

Rockpool Ramble September 21, 2008

 On Friday 19th September all primary 5 pupils and teachers along with the help of 6 parents and 3 Rangers, had a splashing smashing time down at the beach,  rambling around the rockpools and identifying all the life there which they had been learning about over the past few weeks.

Today primary 5 visited the seabird centre and had a wonderful visit learning lots of new things. They will let you know what they thought here……..

It is back! It is going to be another jam packed week of fun activities at Law Primary. From cheerleading to skipping, dancing to karate, the fun never stops. We’re learning so many things about ourselves, our bodies, health, exercise and wellbeing. Watch this space for photos and videos.
