Primary 5 Book Exhibition January 22, 2009

All primary 5 classes shared the books they have been making over the past few months with their parents in an open afternoon in which they heard from their children all about the process. It was a great success and there was a buzz in the air. What an achievement. Parents and pupils will hopefully share their views and experiences here,

It was lots of fun making the book because it was creative and I learnt alot. My dad was very impressed at all our work.

I really enjoyed seeing the beautiful book Lauras team made together, The Rockpool Savers’! What a lot of work, and so well presented. It is always interesting to see what the children are doing at school. Thank you for inviting me.

I really liked the book exhibition everyone looked at each others books and the parernts got to have a look in to I think everyone has done a fab job with there book Also showing my mum the book so she could see it for her self.

I realy likedthe book exhibition because making the box to hold the book in was fun.We did have some fans to make the tissue paper l
look like sea weed in the sea .sadly the fans ran out off batery.
It went realy well.

Thank you for the invitation. It was wonderful to see all the hard work and effort put into the creation of the “Five Fish” group book, especially loved the cover. Well done Lois, Helen, Lauren, Alice and James – Ruby and I were very impressed – please invite us again.

and telling her about my work that I have done in the past 2 terms .

I thought the Book Exhibition was very impressive. The children appear to have had great fun making the book, and have worked really hard.

I really enjoyed doing the books and the book exhibition was fabulous. The best part was seeing everyone’s parents and teaching them new things. If the parents didn’t come, I don’ know what would have happened! So thanks to the parents for coming. I know how hard making the books was, so well done P5. Also thank you to the Seabird Centre, and Sandra Vick, not forgetting P5 teachers!

I was very impressed by all the hard work put in to the project over the passed two terms. The books were great to see finished as we have heard so much about them and seen so much artwork going out of the house wondering what it was for. The books were very impressive.

Thank you for the great exhibition. The books and rockpools were fantastic, and I learned some interesting things about our coastline. All of the children were so enthusiastic about what they had learned and what they had made.

It was amazing! All the books where great!!!! I loved making them but it took 5 months too make. My group where there biggest with 7 peaple but not the best.

I very much injoyed coming to the book exhibition yesterday. It was sad too know about the depleting rockpools. I loved the part of the book that was put together by Jonathan, Rowen, Rory, Mathew, robbie, milly and Noah. It told the story and was beautiful illustrated.
Thank you to the chrildren and their taecher who have worked so hard to make this happen.

I really enjoyed the book exhibition on Thursday and i really want to do it again because it was very good. My book turned out like my group wanted it to because we all worked together and made it our best work.

I was extremely impressed with all the books and all the work that the children had put into the whole project. I enjoyed seeing what Rosie C , James ,Andrew and Ryan came up with by working as a team.Welldone to all!

I thought it was great fun and I hope the mums and dads enjoyed it to. I think everybody showed it to their mum and dad. I thought everybodys displays were goodand their books too. I’t was a great experience and I had fun.

MY THOUGHT OF THE BOOK EXHIBITION
1.It was great fun to show the parents around the book shelfs.

2.Making the book exhibition was VERY VERY fun.

3.Seeing everybody elses books aswell.

It was very fun making the book. Out of all the books i liked Rowans , Noah and Rorys book best. All the displays where very good and colourful. I liked making all the backgrounds.
