They have really used their imaginations and will share their best paragraphs here. Let us know what you think.

Hi my name is Jimmy the crab. I am very lucky because, HELP. Sorry I just got swooped out of my rock pool. SPLASH ! Well now I am back. So where was I? Right yes It is only me and my brother left because my mum and dad got taken to the van for a human food and to make matters worse the rock pools are depleting! And I live right next to the sea. My walls are cracking.
My class and me had to write what it would be like to be a rockpool creature. I am going to tell you my best paragraph. (I am a limpet)
I live with my 2 sisters, mum, dad and me. (My brother was kicked off the rock. My rock is very warm. Upstones is where I sleep,downstones is the the riving room where we watch the rocky. (My favourite proggrame is Our Dangers) We eat our dinner in the kitchen.(Plankton pie for dinner) How about we go and meet my neighbours. Next door Larry limpet,Lauren limpet,Lois limpet and Laura limpet. (What a big family) As we move downstones we come to the Anemone family. Alice anemone,Alison anemone and Andrew anemone. (The flat is very small)
I have found out why this place is so dark, one of the fish came up to me. He was called Sandy. He said to me that “it was so dark in here because a year ago there was a big oil spill. A lot of it landed in here. All of us have been really worried. We have no way of stopping or getting rid of it”.
Today Sandy invited me to a meeting about the oil in the rock flat. When i was there i noticed that there was only adout 10 of us! I thought that there would be more of us than just 10. Back in 2007 before the oil spill there was 24 but they all died soon after it happened.
Hello I’m called Pufferfish Paul, I live in R.Poolside Town and my house is called Seaweed Lagoon. R.Poolside used to be the most rockiest thing in North Berwick rockpools,now it’s just this puddle. When my dad was around the top of his head stuck out of the water. He got squished by a rock,they are depleting like MAD!! I think it’s something to do with pollution, dont Know what it does but it’s not good.

Hello my name is Libby limpet, and I want to show you my rockpool , and how I live. So here I go. My mum Lavender limpet is very depressed, because my little brother got killed by a thinger or was it a finger I don’t know which one? My other brother Lewis limpet, well he has been on a rock for three years, so we don’t know if he is dead or alive, but my mum wouldn’t mind because he was a nightmare anyway.
I heard that the rockpool next door got washed up by the waves, I feel so upset because it might hit our rockpool, and I don’t want it to hit our rockpool. People don’t care about us, don’t we have a life as well as them. We are getting hunted for food. They take us to places where they eat us dead, so I am worried in case my mum and brother get taken away and leave me on my own. Tourists are taking us away and standing on us, it’s so unfair.
Hi, I’m Jakie the Jellyfish. I am really worried that the things with wiggly things(hands) wouldn’t come and take me away, for their restaurants. Why can’t people tell other people, to stop taking us away. Now I have to make some more new friends. I will tell you the friends that I had before they got taken away by the things with wiggly things.(hands) They were called: Sam the Starfish, Lily the Limpet, Chris the Crab, and Henry the Hermit-Crab. Now my rockpool is all empty and I am so sad and lonely.
Hi i am Chloe the crab. I am going to tell you about my rockpool . My rockpool is got little pebbles and rocks and it has got lots of sea weed, so i can hide in it, so that other sea creatures don’t eat me. I live with my sister and my mum. My dad got stood on.
I feel sad about the rockpools depleting because all the sea creatures will be sad because there is litter on the beach and is killing them or hurting the sea creatures. There are cans, oil, glass on the beach, that is litter or some people call it pollution.
Hey, you, yes you. Hi my name is Sasha Starfish and I’m going to tell you about life in a rockpool. My home is great for my because I have loads of friends. It’s also got a seaweed staircase and a really cool cave.
We are lucky because, we have our shell in a big crack in the wall. Some people aran’t so lucky, because they get there houses knocked down by people. I think it is mean, and I feel sad about it.
I’m very sad because my dad was taken to a place where people eat things. Ow, oh sorry a thing from above poked me and interrupted me…. also my mum is very frustrated and does not let us out of the shell because a child poked him to much.
Hi I am Coner the crab I am a child with no mum or dad be cos of a human they went to the fish and chips shop.I have just a sister shes cool she got me a pet limpets it was 100stones and 48peppels. WOW!Is that a wave it is 24feet tall!ahhhhhhhh! No not sister.
Now I am by myself I don’t know who to live with? John the Jellyfish or Fin the fish with thier child….but their wife`s got swept away, they were walking at the side of the rockpools , a wave that was 20cm big hit them. Wait is that a wave ? It is a monster wave! ahhhhhh! Good we are saved but not the rockpool. Now it is just a wee bath not good for us and the rock has gone to sea and there are no sides on our rockpool, just some water and sand, not a rock to be seen in a mile. So I guess I am going to die of starvation.
Hello, my name is Ham hermit crab, and just a few days ago my little sister died and got eaten. In my family there is Pam hermit crab my mum,Sam hermit crab my dad and me, Ham hermit crab. There is not alot but my mum said she would get me a water worm.They don’t cost much only 5 starfish legs and 2 crab claws. I am concerned about the rockpools because in a thousand years there will be no rock pools because the erosion is taking the rocks away. My mum Pam hermit crab says not to worie but I am realy worried.
I liked Rosie G’s paragraph, because she said that she lived with her 2 sisters, mum, dad and her.
I also liked it because she said that she has plankton pie for dinner!

One’s my arm got cut off but we clever starfish can just grow more. That’s the thing I just love about starfish Chabby tea’s ready sorry that’s that ’s my dad . I hope my dinner is oysters or clams that’s my favourite kind of food. Ones my uncle found white stuff with a giant word saying Tesco he had a bit and then died . It’s a real shame because he did nothing wrong in his life. He was only 24 years old most starfish live up to 35 years.
Hey there, I’m called Mini, I am a shrimp, I am not allowed to go out and about, coz it is dangerous, you never know what’s coming, it could be one of those giants that come and sweep you up and take you away. My home is just 2 rocks, but we decorate with seaweed on the wall, but not much else. I live with 9 other people, but 6 of them were taken away, they didn’t come back so I think they are gone. There are only 4 of us left, me, dad. Martin the mollusc and Lumpy the limpet. Lumpy lives on the roof, Martin the mollusc at the bottom of the house and dad and me anywhere.
I think all of the life as a sea creatures are really good because they all have information about conservation.There are loads of different creatures but I think the best one is Alices because it sounds like it is from a real book.

Hello, I`m Scarlet Sea Anemone .I like waving my tentacles, happily, while the tide is in. I hate it when those big things with things that flap, poke you with those things that open…..OUCH! Sorry. I`ve just been poked by a giant thing with feet 5x the size of me! With something that has 5 long pointed things 5x the size of me again, that made me shiver, dropped something that covered me!
I really liked Rosie’G paragraph because it is really GOOD! Because it has people’s names in our class.

Hi my name is Stella ,the starfish .I live In a nice ,small , cosy rock pool with seaweed hanging from the rocks .There are three small ditches . In one of them there lives Mr . Hermit , the hermit crab . He sleeps in the day but when the night comes he has a party . The next animal in will introduce is Miss .poison ,the horrible Sea Anemone . She sucked up my little brother .She shot a poison harpoon and ate him up . I have missed him ever since .
Hi I am Bill the crab. please to meet you. Noooo! oh well there goes my mum to the fish shop. My home is a rock pool. It is not that good. I have to sleep on a rock and it is so uncomfortable.
My dad was using his claws like two pairs of sharp scissors to dig in the sand. My crab brother looks like a burning tomato.
Hi I’m Sally the sea anemone . I don’t like people fishing because fish is my food. People are pulling me from rocks.
I live on rocks so I don’t want people to take rocks from rocks rock pools. People take rocks to make fun on beaches , home and some times they throw my rocks in the sea a can’t swim .
I’V a had nine rock pool’s, the one I live in at the moment is my 9th one . All the rest where destroyed by the big waves ,one just came down and bashed into the rock’s terrible. AHHHH sorry someone just grabbed me out of my rock pool ooh scary. oh what is this in my lovely clean home a plastic bag .That is another thing some people just think the beach is a huge bin it really is a shame and that’s not really helping is it some people just don’t understand.

‘HELLO!’ ‘WE ARE HERE!” Thanks, now I have your attention I can introduce myself. I am Charlie, Charlie the Guppy and I am from the great City Coral Reef round Australia. I have been sent here on a mission by the GFSS Guppy Fish Secret Society, in order to try and save all of the fish in North Berwick from disappearing. If you are a Hoo-min (which you probably are) then you can help. BY NOT PINCHING THE ROSCPOOL CREATURES! And remember fish are friends NOT food!

People from above think we only swim and eat and swim. We don’t just eat and swim we also need to look out for predators like sharks that are not in rockpools. Thank goodness for that then we need to look out for the flowers of the sea . Yes sea anemone that sting a lot like there cousins the jellyfish with there tentacles.
Strangely the rockpool is getting smaller .I think its plastic bags and oil cans or maybe its just mother nature. Today I heard that one of my neighbours houses has been
destroyed.

I might tell you about my neighbours.
This is where my friend Larry the limpet lives.
Right now he is probably sticking to a rock because the tide is out. This is where Sally the starfish lives . Right now she is having her diner which is shrimps . Ow get off. Sorry these hermit crabs are climbing all over me. I‘ts in their nature.
My home is some rock’s and seaweed. My bed is soft to lay on. It is not my brothers sponge or my sister soap. Our home is like a mansion because it is big and it looks nice because of the seaweed, it is green and it has got has little bubbles in it. Next door to me there is a limpet named Harry, he lives on a rock with his mum and dad. Big hands are coming into the rockpool and taking away my friends and taking them to a different rockpool. Next to me is Bill the crab is like a burning tomato.

Seaweed Samsung phone. GOSH! I would be there in one tick, where is it again, North Berwick. Then, I want be there in one tick. I was on big waves, then smashing down again. Just then I saw a gold fish having a nice swim, she turned round and saw me and said, what are you doing in these shallow waters. (It was deep in fact, 16m) I’m on a quest to find the worlds biggest rockpool
but its getting smaller every 1000 years. Its to late said the gold fish, its all full of pollution and oil . With 15 animals living just now. That’s why I’m going , to help I said. I set of again like a tiger chasing a dear. (2 hour later)I was there at last
Hi this is my best paragraph from my life as a sea creature (I’m a crab)
Our rockpools are getting smaller and smaller. It is something to do with big black clouds and white with T-E-S-C-O spelled on them. Oh I nearly forgot about what an old herring told me. He said that the wind changed direction lately which made the waves bigger so they are eroding the rockpools . I’m not sure what it means but all I know is that is bad and very, very scary

Hello I’m Sparkle the starfish ah! Help! Help! Humans! Five minutes later. Still there I’m coming out. Now were was I ah yes I am a five legged starfish very common and important. Here’s my life story come to my rockpool home If I slowly go up the slimy seaweed stairs there is my brother Robbie . The upper floor Is Lilly limpet she likes air so she’s top rock. I’m deepest part of the rockpool I have most shells and sand great ! Of coarse all of them have shells and sand but I get most. I will talk to you in minute I’m just getting some some clams from the fridge.

My life as a sea creature
I live with my mum, dad and sister. There is something called erosion but it dosen’t sound good and it’s flooding my house! I have just got to stay calm, but what about resturaunts? These big giants take family members away, I don’t think I can go on talking about it It makes me sad anyway.
So let me show you around the rock pool this is my house . Over
her is the food farm guess what we do there .And up on the top floor rock is Larry limpet him and his brother . Her is Cookie’s house but she got eaten I did like her because she called me a star fish but my dad called me a sea star. And in this corner is Harry hermit crab and his dad Harry is such a bully to everyone. He stays up all night and has party’s with his dad but also he climbs all over you. Hang on why is Garry covered in that plastic bag that’s disgusting Garry are you all right “ yes I am what was that .I don’t know but it is not nice.
When people see us walking around in the seaweed they think that we are just things that want to be taken away from the rockpools. We don’t because they are our homes and the more sea creatures they take away the less rockpools that will be left in all of the sea. Because no creatures will be living in them any more then all of them will disappear in to tiny little bits of sand and soon that is going to happen to every rockpool it’s because of the big strong waves crashing agents them all the other rocks too.

I think Rosie.G story was good she made every thing realy intresting and the story well. I liked how there was alot of names aswell. It was great!
I have a friend . His name is Selly the sera horse. He is still alive. I mostly stay at his house because I get lonely at my house. Our favourite game is eels and limpets. It is fun game to play. I play with him every day. He has no mum so we look after each other .
I will now show you round my house. Here is my bedroom. The bed is a rock. It is quite hard but it is the only bed. Here is the view where most of my family get picked up by humans.
