Haunted Hallowe’en Trees… October 28, 2008
Posted by Miss Boyd in : 2008-09, P5 , 20commentsP5B have been very busy in art. Mrs Watson (Sam’s mum) came with her daughter, Rosie, to show us how to draw and paint spooky haunted Hallowe’en trees. We used pencil to draw the gnarled branches and roots so they looked like hands and feet, then we used a black biro pen to create a cross hatch which gives the effect of a shadow. Finally, we used watercolour to add gradual colour to the tree, the sky and the background. Here are some of our paintings. What do you think of them? Add comments please!
What do YOU think of how they turned out, Mrs Watson??
