P5 Basketball Festival September 26, 2008
Posted by smacniven in : 2008-09, Events , trackbackToday, Thursday 25th September, teams of primary 5 pupils from every school in the North Nerwick Cluster played in a basketball festival, competing in mini games against each other for two solid hours. The event was run by Steven Duff and Marie Caer with the help of young people from Telford College. It was a magnificent display of the developing skills, team spirit and energy of all involved. I was in the basketball festival and really enjoyed it. Mrs Mcniven was really supportive. 5B won a few games lost 2 and drew the rest. It was very tiring but really fun.

I really enjoyed the basketball festival because I learnt some basketball tricks like bouncing a ball under a leg.
15 boys and 15 girls went to the sport centre. They played different schools and we got a photograph taken.I t will be in the news paper. Our team was called the PANTHERS!It was really fun.

had played a mach girls with girls and boys with boys it was very fun!!!
i realy enjoyed the basket ball festival!!! It was scary at first but then when we started playing i felt alot better!!!!! We were supporting each other and had a fab time!We also jumed for joy when we won or shoot a goal.when we went back to school are class were realy proud of us. Although it was fun it was tyring too,but i’m sure we would all like to do it again!!!!!
