French Breakfast May 30, 2008
Posted by Miss Boyd in : 2007-08, P5 , trackbackFriday 30th of May 2008 the p5s hosted a French Breakfast for our French Project. We invited our parents and had a lot of fun. Our parents enjoyed the food. There were croissants, crepes, pains au chocolat, jam, juice and cheese. Our parents also looked at all our work on the France project and chatted with other parents and relatives. They arrived at 9:30 and they left at 10:25. Check out our podcast.

Thank you to all the parents and relatives for coming to the P5 French Breakfast. It was a great success with even more people coming than last year. Thank you also for providing the children with such a variety of delicious food. I think the local supermarkets may need prior warning for next year’s events as the supply of brioche and croissants seems to have depleted somewhat!
We are glad you also enjoyed seeing your child’s work from the last few months. Perhaps we shall see some of you next year if you have a child in P4 this year! Remember, your name has to be on the list…no sneaking in!

Thanks very much for inviting the parents to this event which was a little bit different! Cameron had enjoyed meeting the French students: I thought the booklet he and his friends (Roddy, Nick and Oliver) put together was very creative and I thoroughly enjoyed having a second breakfast of the morning! The event was a great mix of socialising while seeing their work. Thanks a lot!
