Shadows and reflection December 4, 2007
Posted by Miss Boyd in : 2007-08, P5 , trackbackPrimary 5C have been designing and creating shadow puppets. They used cardboard, paper fasteners, canes and scissors to create them. They will be testing them out soon to see how effective they’ve been. The rest of the P5s cannot wait to see them!
All the Primary 5s have been looking at light as part of their Light and Sound science topic. P5C have been looking at reflective materials. P5B have been dressing up a child for winter using different materials, as well as reflective/shiny material so that they ‘glow in the dark’! They’ve also been learning about shadow formation. Here’s some photos of the children researching shadows with the laptops and some of them used lamps and an object to investigate shadow formation.
