Some of us get the First News when it comes out so we can learn about what is going on in the world. It is aimed towards children so we find it easier to read…and much more interesting! There are copies in the school for us to read in our silent reading times but we’ve also been looking at them to see what we like about the way they are written. We can also get ideas for our own articles.
If you get the chance to read any kind of newspaper article that is interesting and appropriate for children then I would read it because we learned so much from them.
