New Judo Classes for Infants. October 27, 2008

P1,2 and 3 enjoyed a judo demonstration from Peter and Preet Gardner.
Peter and Preet will be taking judo classes in Law Primary on a Wednesday after school if anyone would like to come along. Please remember that judo moves must never be practised in the playground.
Amazing artwork! March 3, 2008
Posted by Law Upper in : P2 , add a commentP2b have been working on some artwork and focusing on using lots of colour. From faces to flowers, houses to fish they have colour everywhere. Their aim was to use colours that they wouldn’t usually use. They got to look at some artwork to give them an idea of what they would be doing but they were not allowed to copy. They used pens and crayons and created such a good effect ! Well done .

Wicked Weather January 25, 2008
Posted by Law Upper in : P2 , add a commentThe news has come to Law Primary! P2b have been looking at the weather this week and making clouds and raindrops to hang from the ceiling. They made a map of the UK and they are going to film themselves being weather boys and weather girls. We are sure that they have got the weather right and we hope its sunny!

Moon Diaries January 25, 2008

They’re enjoying gazing at the moon every night. Aswell as doing the moon diaries they have also been busy practising for their assembly about the seasons. They are all worn out after such a busy week.

Pirate Invasion! January 10, 2008
Posted by Law Upper in : P1, P2 , add a commentOn January 10th, the kids in primary 1/2 have been working extremely hard to make very scary pirate masks. It was a very tricky listening task. They managed extremely well, and the end result was fantastic. They scared everyone out of their socks. They had big noses and black teeth. Well done primary 1/2!

Wriggly Nativity December 12, 2007
Posted by smacniven in : P1, P2 , 24commentsThe P1’s have been working very hard to produce their wonderful annual Nativity. And it’s superb! This year’s Nativity was called the Wriggly Nativity because there was so much wriggling. There were sheep, donkeys, Innkeepers and their wives, angels, dancers, stars and of course Mary and Joseph (Shona Corrie and Mathew Wilson.) They are all really looking forward to showing their mums, dads, brothers, sisters, grannies and grandads later this week. Great work p1 and 2.

Posted by Law Upper in : P2 , add a commentP2c made some lovely paper doves using straws, cellotape and yellow card. The end result was very effective. They could even flap their wings! We really enjoyed the finished work of P2c’s Art lesson.We are sure that they enjoyed making them.

Wacky Winter Wall Display November 29, 2007

P1/2 have been getting ready for the whole school assembly all about Farm Africa and Whacky Welly Week by painting their wellys with bright and colourful spots and as a stripy, buzzing bee. They have used clear material for bee wings and pipe cleaners for antennae. They are on show in their classroom to remind them of all the money they have raised for Farm Africa.
