New Judo Classes for Infants. October 27, 2008

P1,2 and 3 enjoyed a judo demonstration from Peter and Preet Gardner.
Peter and Preet will be taking judo classes in Law Primary on a Wednesday after school if anyone would like to come along. Please remember that judo moves must never be practised in the playground.
p1 Baking and Making! February 27, 2008
Posted by Law Upper in : P1 , 6comments In primary 1B this week they have been baking fairy cakes were being made. The infant area has been smelling nice and the cakes looked really good but I bet they taste even better.
Shhhhhh…They are also busy making something else for somone special, I wonder what it is?

Tartan Painting January 25, 2008
Posted by Law Upper in : P1 , add a commentPrimary 1b have been paining tartan this week in time for Robert Burn’s day. There were loads of great colours including red, green, blue and yellow. They mixed really well and made it look like real tartan. Everyone is looking forward to the haggis at Burns day.

This week primary1 have been doing a project on Homes and Houses. They made little booklets about their houses that told us what their favourite rooms were and where their houses where. They also made a big house showing good materials and bad materials to make a house with.

Pirate Invasion! January 10, 2008
Posted by Law Upper in : P1, P2 , add a commentOn January 10th, the kids in primary 1/2 have been working extremely hard to make very scary pirate masks. It was a very tricky listening task. They managed extremely well, and the end result was fantastic. They scared everyone out of their socks. They had big noses and black teeth. Well done primary 1/2!

Wriggly Nativity December 12, 2007
Posted by smacniven in : P1, P2 , 24commentsThe P1’s have been working very hard to produce their wonderful annual Nativity. And it’s superb! This year’s Nativity was called the Wriggly Nativity because there was so much wriggling. There were sheep, donkeys, Innkeepers and their wives, angels, dancers, stars and of course Mary and Joseph (Shona Corrie and Mathew Wilson.) They are all really looking forward to showing their mums, dads, brothers, sisters, grannies and grandads later this week. Great work p1 and 2.

Wacky Winter Wall Display November 29, 2007
Posted by Law Upper in : P1, P2 , add a commentP1/2 have been working very hard to make winter display in time for Christmas. They dressed up snowmen differently and made paper icicles that they hung from the ceiling. They did a great job and they hope Santa will like it.

P2a have been getting ready for halloween by making some funky flying witches and a wonderful halloween display. Some of their witches are on the display but most are flying high on their classroom roof. Spooky!

P1b have been replaced by ghosts, pirates, witches, wizards, skeletons and even batman! They have all had a party in their classroom and had loads of fun eating doughnuts on strings with their hands tied behind their backs, dropping forks into a bowl of apples and scaring each other loads. What fabulous costumes we nearly didn’t recognise them!

P1/2 have been getting ready for the whole school assembly all about Farm Africa and Whacky Welly Week by painting their wellys with bright and colourful spots and as a stripy, buzzing bee. They have used clear material for bee wings and pipe cleaners for antennae. They are on show in their classroom to remind them of all the money they have raised for Farm Africa. Clowns Invade P1/2 In Their Big Top October 30, 2007
