Parent Helpers…
THANK YOU!
All the staff at Law Primary wish to thank all the parents who have helped with the multitude of events, school trips and activities over this session. Without you, these activities simply would not happen.
Your tireless effort and enthusiasm for the school activities do not go unnoticed.
Sadly, due to the low number of parents who have put themselves on the parent helper list and some last minute cancellations (which, we understand, cannot be helped), some activities at the school have had to be postponed or even cancelled. We are relying on the same parents time after time and we feel it is time to give them a wee break!
If you think you’d be available to help with trips, events, activities or even as a classroom parent helper then please contact Liz Westcott via the School Office to add your name to the list of parent helpers and let us know when you are available. Even if you are only available for a one-off event, your help would be very much appreciated.
Here are just SOME of the many activities you could help with:
P1 Trip to the Zoo, Reading, group work, science activities, cooking pancakes!
P2 Trip into North Berwick, Rockpools, Reading, group work, ICT skills
P3 Trip to the Museum of Childhood, Enterprise activities, Reading, group work
P4 Trip to Dirleton Castle, Trips to Church for Christmas/Easter, Maths Practice
P5 Trip to the Synagogue & Mosque in Edinburgh, local church visit, movie making
P6 Victorian Murder Mystery Day, Cycling Proficiency, Inventions Day
P7 Trip to Edinburgh, Enterprise activities, Musical, Sports Day
and many many many more!!
Come and join the list!

Dracula Rock Show
Congratulations to all the cast for a fantastic show - everyone was so confident. There were great performances from Professor Moriarty and Jagged Mick, not forgetting Dracula himself. From the main characters to everyone in the chorus - a spectacular show. well done everyone!

How amazing to look at the website tonight and see pictures and comments from the P7’s away at camp, it was great to see the photos and very reassuring to read the comments from some of the pupils. What a brilliant use of blogging - well done.

Hi to Andrew B and his charming friends! So glad weather so good for you all. Life back home is the same as usual, the week is going slowly for brothers and sisters going off to school each day. Please enjoy every minute of your trip up North. Hope you are all getting lots of exercise and sleep well at night. North Berwick seems quiet this week! Not for long I am sure! Enjoy Mum, Ailsa and Dad.

It was nice to find this site. As a previous chair of the school board can I encourage more parents to take part in the school. It was sad to see that the PTA may fold as I remember it as part of our life in North Berwick. As for the trips that one can help out on they were all fun. It can be educational for the parents too when they go on school trips.
