Upper Area Research Examples

Research cover collage P7 We do a lot of personal research tasks at home. We know what to do do because we have success criteria or a checklist of what is expected. We all want to do our best work so we look at each others regularly to see if we can improve, share ideas, pick up new tips. We really enjoy this and below are some great examples of work.

Here are a couple of examples of Front Covers we did for our research on someone who was a hero or heroine to us. Using collage can be very effective as you can see.   .

A good idea when you have a lot of text is to break it up to keep it interesting. We use a lot of different media and techniques to keep our work really interesting. Like using coloured boxes, different types of font etc.

We try to make sure our drawings are really vibrant and eyecatching. Using imagination and initiative challenges us to do something a bit different like take a real photo of an adults weekly rations during the war. What a great idea!

We also try to add an Appendix to our work which is another chance to include something extra or really different. Some of us included interviews of our hero or newspaper articles about them.
