Painting pride.
Iona Ross’s dad works at Greens and Blues on North Berwick high Street and has kindly donated a beautiful painting to the school. The artist is a German man named Peter Joly. Peter Joly works in Holland but his paintings can be found allover Europe and the United States but Greens and Blues is currently the only place in Scotland where you can get hold of his art. It is being raffled for £1 a ticket and it retails at Galleries from £700 to £900 and is called The Poppy Meadow. To get hold of a ticket for this 1m by 1m astounding piece of artwork a letter is going out to parents and all you have to do is return the slip to Law Primary School. By Finlay and Fergus

What a beautiful painting. It really catches your eye when you walk into the school. (I wonder if anyone will mind if I just take it…hmmmmm) Just teasing. I, for one, will be entering the raffle!
