My invention is a car and it uses battery power.
The materials I used to make it were wood,screws,washers,bolts and an old piece of drainpipe. All the materials had been used beforehand. Therefore my invention is an environmentally friendly invention.

My invention is a board game that spins around. I used wood, pipe cleaners, knex, CD and a motor from an old toy. It uses battery power which stores the energy which powers the motor that makes it spin around.

My invention is an uphill roller. I used 2 big polystyrene balls, a piece of wooden broom handle and some weights on string. I roll the weights around the wood and as they unwind it makes the roller move on a flat surface or a slight hill.

my invention was a boat powered by water , it was a boat i made out of cardboard with a water wheel on the back ! all you do is pour water on to the wheel and off it goes ! The invention convention was a great idea. (hope all the next p6’s have as much fun as we did !!) imogen 6a x

My invention is game which has a flap where you blow through a straw to a ball.I used A4 paper and sellotape I also used a pen and pencil to make a fun game for P5’s and paired readers but I don’t know what energy it is.

My invention is a volcanoe.It is powered by chemical energy(bicarbonate of soda).I got a plantpot and put newspaper over it.All you do is put bicarbonate of soda and red food die in and it all blows up!

My invention is blow football. You blow through a straw and try to score a goal against your opponent with a ping-pong ball and who ever scores first wins!!! My sorce of energy is wind from your mouth.

My invention is powered by an elastic-band. It is a sort of car with 2 wheels. It is made out of a breakfast box and paper clips and blue tack and that is all. It is quite good.

My invention is a volcano and it is powered by chemical energy, you just have to pour in some vinegar and put in a tea spoonful of bicarbonate of soda then it pours over the top!!!!!!!
The volcano is just made out of newspaper, paint, varnish, a bottle and a box lid. I am really looking forward to the day.

My invention is a catapult!!!
It is powered by potential energy.I used a small spoon,lots of wood,a plastic band and loads of nails to make my invention.It is very good - when I let go of the spoon the ball goes miles!!!!!!!!

My invention is a windmill powerd by batteries and if the battery runs out it will be powerd by a rubberband.
It is made from knex, rubber band/batteries.
I’cant wait to see all the other inventions.

My invention is a car made out of cereal boxes.I took a old car to bits and used it’s weels.To make it go I made a key out of carboard and you twist it round and it go’s!

My invention is an elastic band powered bell. I have a hammer-like thing that is attached through a butter pot with an elastic band. if you pull it back then it goes forward and hits a ball off a stand which swings and hits a chime!
I can’t wait till i get to show it in the invention convention!

My invention is a pinball machine and I made it by hammering nails into a round base. I left gaps between the nails so the ball can travel through them. To fire the ball up the base I tied some elastic to the nails so the ball could be catupulted along the base. I put a clear cover on the top of the nails so the ball would stay on the base. To fire the ball you put the ball in front of the elastic, pull the elastic back and let go! This fires the ball.

My invention is called hook the duck .It is a bit like a boat it has a paddle in the middle with an elastic band wrapped around it. What you do is spin the paddle put it in water and off it goes.It’s base is made out of an old spring roll packet .To stop it sinking I had to put 2 yoghurt pots in the end compartments it has 3 mini chickens sitting on the back and a ducks neck on the front (the boat is the ducks body,the duck’s called Ed.

my invention is a windmill that can calculate it’s rpm using an old bike computer. i used k’nex and paper cups to make it, and the stand is made from scrap wood.

my invention is a lego scorpain (which I bilt) that you program on a computer. it took me ages to make up the program i’ve got on it. the sorpain walks, talks, uses a veriety of different sencors and can even sting you!!! (it doesn’t hurt).

My invention is a volcanoe.It is powered by chemical energy.
It is made of paper mache,masking tape,cardboard,paint,vinegar,biacorbanate of soda,red couliring and a bottle in the middleof the cardboard.
What happens is that you pour in a cup of vinegar in the top of the volcanoe and put in 10 drops of red colouring.Add the biacorbonate of soda and BANG! it explodes.

I can’t wait until I can see everyone’s inventions. My invention is more of an experiment basically if you mix cornflower, water and to give it some colour add food colouring. If you apply force to it will be a solid but if you just lay it in your hand it will become a liquid.

I have invented a caterpillar that moves from one spot to another!
It is made from drift wood, hinges, elastic bands, string, newspaper and the tubing that vents your tumbledrier.
It is powered by an elastic band on a wheel.When the elastic band unwinds, it moves the wheel, which moves the piston, which moves the caterpillar!

i have done a roller . it was me and my dads idea . i made it with a thread bobbin , a hair bobble , a match stick , and a bit of candle . all you have to do is twist the bobble round , place it on a table eg … and it rolls . i am looking forward to seeing everybodys inventions on friday . eilidh x

My invention is a lego car powered by chemical energy. I fixed an empty film cartridge box on the top of the car with some black tape. I then filled the box three quarters with lemon juice, put bicarbonate of soda onthe lid and closed it quickly. When the lemon juice and the bicarbonate of soda mix the lid explodes off and the car shoots along the ground. I tried this lots of times to find out how much juice and soda works best.

My invention is a water boat, it is made from polystyrene, cardboard and balsa wood which is very light. It is battery powerd, the battery is conected to a motor, the motor turns a propellor and blows it along. I hope you want to see it.
