News About 6D at King’s Meadow Primary, Haddington

The manager of each group for the French Cafe have been giving interviews to people that wanted a specifec job .e.g flyers group, posters group and the invitations group.

We had a lot of fun doing that activity.

During the past few weeks we have been making a list of people that we would like to invite to the P6 French Cafe.  We then all wrote letters, copied the best ones and sent them out to the people we wanted there.

We had great fun doing this activity.

The Flyers Group have been making flyers and sending them home. We all applied for the jobs and had an interview with the Manager for the job.

We have gave information on what time the French Cafe is at and where it is held. Also, we said how much the tickets are. We all designed a draft copy and chose the best two.

We have gone down to the photo copier and copied them into different colours. We gave some to the people who are writing the invitations so they can send them to people who helped around the school.

The group are Callum, Lloyd, Jenna, Eve and our manager is Graeme.

Today in 6D we have started our French topic.  We have been making notes of what we know and what we want to know.  What we know is that their currency is Euros and they eat frogs’ legs and snails.  What we are wanting to know is about French sport, French fashion, French  schools, French history and French celebrations.
