Members of Youth Parliament sent away their application for Schools Question time today. They have based their questions around the hotly debated topic ‘Attack and Defense’ and chosen some very interesting panalists to debate this topic.

Unfortunatly YP’s entry did not make it through to the final 12. However it was selected as ‘Highly Commendable’ and they will be receiving an interview with a BBC journalist.

Thanks for your email and your session in Sept/Oct sounds really interesting.
I have asked one of our beat media contacts if she would be prepared to speak and she has agreed – her name is Heather Dee and she is a radio presenter based in Edinburgh – Heather had anorexia and has successfully recovered and is happy to share her experiences.
Although it is doubtful anyone from beat could be there in person, we would happily supply you with leaflets. I will certainly ask whether any of our contacts would be able to attend on the night to answer questions – whereabouts will the session be held? (in which city I mean!)
