Innerwick Primary School

Our P1/2/3 class had great fun recently making their fireworks displays, as you will see from the wonderful photos!

They went into the outdoor shelter and had great fun flicking and splashing paint to make one of their fantastic displays which is now brightening up their cloakroom.

They then all worked together in the classroom to draw a wonderful crayon firework picture that they then covered with paint to make it look like a perfect clear fireworks evening!

We would like to say a BIG Thank You to everybody who supported the school at the recent Party Lite Candle Party.

A total of £88.00 was raised from Candle Sales, the Raffle and from the Sale of the Squares.

The school are holding a Party Lite Candle Fund Raising Event on Thursday 23rd October 2008

This will take place in the School Hall from 8.00 - 10.00pm to which all parents/carers/relatives/friends are invited.

Refreshments will be served at the event by Innerwick Primary School Parent Council.

If you are not able to attend, but wish to see one of the catalogues, please pop into the school office as Tina has spare catalogues for you to browse through!  

School finishes on Friday 10th October 2008 for the October Half Term Break.

Staff have an in-service day on Monday 20th October and pupils return to school on Tuesday 21st October 2008.

Consultations for parents/carers of pupils in P1-P7 will be held with the class teachers on Monday 22nd September and Tuesday 23rd September 2008.

10 minute appointments for each pupil are available as follows;-

Monday 22nd September - 6.00 - 8.00pm

Tuesday 23rd September - 3.30 - 5.30pm

A letter giving further details has been sent home with your children.  Please ensure that you return the tear-off slip to school by Friday 19th September, so that a suitable appointment can be made.

School will be closed on Monday 15th September 2008 for the one day September Holiday and resumes as normal on Tuesday 16th September 2008.

Our P1/2/3 pupils are very excited about their upcoming trip to Scottish Seabird Centre in North Berwick which is to be on Tuesday 16th September 2008.

The class having been looking at The Sea Shore for their class topic, and this will be the Grand Finale for them!

We hope that they have a fantastic time there and can come back and give us lots of comments for the website!
