SEPTEMBER 26th-28th The Belhaven Best: Dunbar Traditional Music Festival. The Festival includes sessions at named venues and includes ceilidhs, dance, and childrens workshop, with strolling musicians welcome. See also: Dunbar Traditional Music Festival website

“FOUR fabulous days celebrating Bonnie Prince Charlie’s victory at the 1745 Battle of Prestonpan are set to take residents by storm.
From Wednesday, September 17 till Saturday, September 20, there will be a wide range of battle-related activities in venues across Prestonpans and beyond. [...]“
October mid-term is fast upon us, so just a wee reminder that during October Historic Scotland will be running a “Kids go Free” offer.
For the whole of October, Historic Scotland is repeating its amazingly popular Kids Go Free offer.
Children will be allowed free entry into most Historic Scotland paid attractions* and with over 70 across Scotland, the only challenge is fitting them all into 31 days!
