The Donkey sanctuary has 43 donkeys from all different back grounds, 4 were saved from the slaughter house, another from Blackpool beach, an other from Spain.
Paddy is the one that we adopted and the money we pay helps to feed Paddy, for 1 year.
Does anyone know how old a Donkey can live to?

Everyone helped to prepare the soil and then planted and watered the new flowers. The playground looks lovely - well done!
P1-3 Visit Humbie Shop May 7, 2008
Posted by P4-7 in : P1-3 , add a commentToday we visited Humbie Shop. We visited the shop for our project.
We found out that:
- The shop is 30-40 years old
- 8 volounteers work in the shop
- They can have up to 50 customers every morning
- 20 people get their newspapers from the shop
- The shop has got smaller because people are using the supermarkets more.
We think that everyone should use the local shop for everyday items so that it can stay open. If you walk to the Humbie Shop it is good exercise and good for the environment. You cannot walk to Tescos!!
