17. Mrs Malcolm - March 8, 2008

Dear P4-P7

I was one of the Head Teachers at the Conference in the Brunton Hall and I just want to tell you that I used GROW with my P4/5/6/7 class at the beginning of February to plan our RME topic. The children all enjoyed using GROW and worked hard to research information about Other World Religions. They presented their information and findings to their class mates on Tuesday and used a variety of ways to make their presentations interesting and informative. Some groups used power point, some used flipcharts and some used factsheets and prompt cards. We had a fabulous morning sharing each other’s work.

Thank you again for demonstrating GROW. We will definitely be using it again.

“Hi Mrs Stratton! Sad :( to tell you that I have a bandeg on my foot because me john and Iola where runing around in iola’s garden bear footed at Iola’s house. I saw a dash on my foot about a inch long and it was bleeding like mad and then i felt pain and lifted my foot up and i burst out crying and couldn’t walk for a while. Iola and John were realy nice to me :)

24. Mhairi Stratton - May 3, 2008

Hi Kym,
Sorry to hear about your foot. I hope it is better for dancing next week ( I think your dance is realy cool). I am so glad John and Iola looked after you - they are great friends. Have fun with your cousin Ellie. I hope your dad is feeling better after his opertation.

Mrs S :)

25. Mhairi Stratton - May 3, 2008

Hi Ellie,

Lovely to hear from you. Kym is right: Humbie is a very small school and is most certainly the best! Maybe you will be able to come and visit one day. I hope you have fun playing with Kym.
