We in Humbie Primary School strive to create in the school a warm welcoming atmosphere where children are valued and safe. Children receive individual attention from the four adults who work in the classes and learning support is provided for pupils at either end of the spectrum.
The school plays a large part in the community, entertaining the local lunch club with Christmas carols, recitations and dances at the Scots night celebrations, as well as an extremely professional performance of a musical in the Summer term. Religious festivals are celebrated in the village hall and church, and are supported and enjoyed by most families in the village. Humbie Primary caters for children from Nursery to Primary 7. It is non-denominational and co-educational. The school building is available for use by outside bodies on application to the School Board. Forms may be obtained from the school.
