edubuzz.org provides web publishing tools to learners within East Lothian, Scotland and is the basis for a networked learning community.
The purpose of eduBuzz is to improve teaching and learning. It was originally known as Exc-el, for Excellence in East Lothian. There’s more about the origins of the development on the original Exc-el site.
eduBuzz is a development by East Lothian Council Education & Children’s Services.
The edubuzz.org weblogs are built using WordPress Multi-User open source blog software. We would like to thank the WordPress community world-wide, who have enabled eduBuzz by developing the software, making it freely available and sharing technical support information.
