Come and read about our new Enterprise Project

Last December we went to Humbie Mill to look at the calves so we could decide which one to buy.

This is one of the calves we saw and it is a Hereford.

The calf nearest to the fence is the one that we are going to buy. We bought a Hereford calf and it cost us £140.

This is the milk feeder that the calves drink out of.

This is Mr. Hodge showing us about a passport that each calf has. He told us about all the medicines and money it costs to keep a calf. We are going to pay to keep the calf.

Holly was bought at Beeston Castle Market and here is the journey she travelled from Tarporley to Humbie.
