Rights Respecting Assembly

Today Primary 2/7 and Miss Ross led our assembly. We discussed the differences between things we wanted and things we needed. Miss Ross told us we were going off to live on a desert island and we had to decide what to take. We decided we needed food, water, our family and a home for our new life. We might want but we did not really need a TV, DVDs and magazines.
On Thursday the 11th June Unicef assessors are coming to visit our school and talk to us about our Rights Respecting Schools work. We are hoping we have done enough to earn the award.

We are looking forward to the visit from the Unicef staff. We hope that we have done enough to win the award.
