Playground
This is an extension to the school and is where P1/P2 have their classrooms and where the nursery is situated.

Spring Fair

We had our annual spring fair on Saturday. There was so much to do and see. The Police brought their van and the Fire Brigade brought one of their engines. We were able to explore their vehicles and hear the siren. In the annexe playground lots of us enjoyed soaking our teachers, Mr Gielty, Mr Crombie and Mr Wood. The coconut shy was a great hit and we worked hard to beat the goalie. In the mainbuilding playground we watched a demonstration of birds of prey. Mrs Swinton was brave enough to hold an Indian Eagle Owl called Expo. In the Main building hall we had our faces painted, covered our arms in transfer tattoos, we made fridge magnets and bought our new school Eco bags. The Baking stall was a great success and many a bargain was bought from the bic a brac stall and bottles won on the tombola. A big thank you to all the staff, PTA and volunteer parents who helped to make the day a great success. We are still counting all the money raised!

The tattoo stall was so busy I didn’t even have a chance to see all the other things! Thank you Mrs Black for taking all the photos so I could see everything else. I had a great time and the day passed in a flash! What was your favourite thing at the fair?

My favourite bit was getting my face painted because it tickled me so much. I giggled alot then I bought a photo clip. It was 5p.

I liked the bird. It had a wonderful pattern. I also liked
seeing my brother have a go on the fire engine.

My favourite bit was when I was throwing sponges at Mr Wood beacause it was funny. It was fun getting my face painted beacause you just had to wait to see what had been done on your face.

I liked the coconut shy I won 2 coconuts. But it was really hard to get them down.

I liked painting the fridge magnets and I liked watching Mr Whiteside. I liked going in the box and finding two whistles and getting some cakes from Emma and her mum. My sister got a nde bike and I got a horse.

I had a great time at the fair. I really liked getting to hold the owl, she was so heavy! I hope everyone who came along had a great morning and thank you to everyone who supported this great event!
