You click on it and can subscribe to the feed. If you set up a bloglines account you can then look at that to see at a glance which of the blogs you follow have new posts. Something along those lines - I am a total luddite and Mr EduBuzz Fixit, David, set me up with detailed in structions and a whole bunch of feeds at the beginning, so I don't entirely understand what I'm doing!
