Scirus

I’ve just been trying out Scirus to look for publications for a literature review I’m working on.  David Gilmour told me about this search engine for scientific literature at the weekend, when we were both supporting our respective offspring at a badminton tournament.  Scirus produced some instant results for me, which I might never have ferreted out otherwise.  So, if I hadn’t started an Excel blog and then gone to the meeting last week, I wouldn’t have known that was David sitting by the window in the Aubigny cafe…  And, for the record, my two brought home a shield each - for the boys doubles (GP1) and most improved Secondary-age player (GP2) - whilst David’s son won the most improved Primary player.  Success all round!

    Glad you found Scirus useful.

I’d certainly encourage others to give it a try for solid, research-based information from a huge range of sources.
