On Wednesday 12^th November, Fiona Hyslop MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning will open the new Sanderson’s Wynd primary school at Tranent, East Lothian.

Parents from Elphinstone Primary School will be on site from 9.30am to challenge Ms Hyslop to live up to SNP promises to support small rural schools and not to allow the budget cuts to cause staff losses at our school. All parents welcome. Meet at Elphinstone school at 8.50am on Wednesday.

The recently run Beetle Drive raised £84.52.  Thanks to all the children and adults who came and also to those who kindly donated prizes for the raffle.  It was an enjoyable evening and an event which will no doubt be repeated in the not so distant future!
