Professional Development Library

In the resources section under ‘reading for module 1′ there are a couple of reading lists. If people could suggest which titles would be most useful I’d be happy to look at investing some of the staff development money on these resources to be kept within the Professional Development Library (formerly known as the SQH library!) in Prestonpans Education Centre.

If I could have some suggestions before the summer that would be great.

I think the Pollard books are a good investment not just for module one but for many other modules.

One of the books I had recommended on the Learning and Teaching course was

Paul Ginnis - The Teacher’s Toolkit

I found this very useful for all courses. Every time I am required to put together lessons for submission this is an excellent tool for ideas and for auditing the lessoin.
