Welcome!
26 02 2007Hi There
We - Lynne and Hilery - have spent 2 days getting this blog started. We are both at different stages: Lynne is completing Module 5 at Paisley; Hilery gained CT status last year through the full accreditation route.
Most of the information at this stage is collated from the GTCS and other websites. We hope it is helpful. However, for this to be a real blog we now need you to make contributions in the form of comments to what others have written or, ideally, your own posts.
Each of you has editor privileges which means that the site belongs to all of us. We have included 22 categories and (with apologies to experienced bloggers) if your posts fit into one or more of these, then it’s helpful to others if you check the box. If you want to make your own category then of course that’s fine.
If you know of any others who are embarking - or who have already embarked - on the CT process, then please let us know so we can include them too.
We will look forward to watching how this develops. Over to you …

I’m really pleased to see this up and running and look forward to the disucssions which develop.
I am currently doing my 4th CT module with Napier and have found their courses excellent. However, they are about to stop providing them and I think it would therefore be wise to remove them from the list of providers on this site or at least note that on the providers page - at least to keep ourselves up to date.

Thanks removed from the main list.
Hi there!
I’m on my 8th module with Paisley (how did that happen?).
Nice to know that there are others ‘out there’!
Brilliant. I’m really glad to see that you’ve done this.
I’ll be at the top of the payscale in the next academic year and I’m very interested in the CT. It will be great to read about your experiences before embarking.
I’m sure I’ll be troubling you with many questions later in 2007!

It’s great that you’re keen to get started.
Don’t assume you’d be a trouble. I think we all benefit from this sort of sharing of experience. The more questions and comments we get, the more others realise they’re not alone.
Good luck!
