About this blog
This blog is a link to the day-to-day work of the education ICT team.
We already publish a regular ICT Newsletter in hardcopy and by email. There’s an on-line version, too, at the eduictnews blog, where news stories are gathered as they happen.
The Newsletter provides an easy-to-digest monthly overview. It’s intended for people who need to keep in touch with what’s happening, but don’t need the details.
This blog’s different. This is a place for you if you’re actively exploiting ICT in schools from day to day, and need more detail. We’re aiming to answer questions like:
- What do the team do, and who does what?
- What new things can I try out?
- What’s the best way to…?
- Who’s doing what with ICT?
- Where are there known problems? How can I work round them?
Of course, it’s a blog and that means it’s a two way conversation. As far as possible, everything will be open to feedback using the blog comments.
What do you think? Are we on the right track? Or are we heading off in the wrong direction?
