Welcome to East Linton Playgroup!

The Playgroup runs in the East Linton Community Hall on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings during school term time.

We aim to encourage and support each child to learn and develop to his or her full potential by providing a wide variety of appropriate and stimulating activities in a safe, secure environment.

Upcoming Playgroup dates for your diary

Playgroup will recommence after the Summer on Mon 23rd August.

On Fri 3rd September we are holding a Quiz Night fundraiser. There will be a fun quiz, a bar, cash prizes and a great raffle so this is not to be missed! It’s open to all (not just Playgroup parents) so please tell your friends and get a team of four people together.

The AGM will be held on Mon 13th September. We encourage all parents to attend.

Gala Float Success! Congratulations to all.

Playgroup’s piggy pink cheeks are flushed with pride today after we won first prize for our Gala float! The float looked fantastic and was packed to the brim with happy children. Thank you to the many people who helped with the construction and costumes: Emma, Jill, Maxine, Ailsa, Pam, Angela, Moira, Donna, Nancy, Susan, Gayle, April, Andrea and Kathryn! (Huge apologies if I have missed anyone off this list). Thanks are also due to Maxine’s husband Andrew for sourcing the trailer and the bales, and for driving us through the village in style.

Some photos of the Gala can be seen here.

Planning for new admissions in August and September

We are currently looking at the register and need parents to please let us know if their child will be returning after the Summer holidays. If you have not already done so, please complete the sign-up sheet (at Playgroup) as soon as possible, so we can start to make offers to new applicants, in accordance with our policy, before the summer holidays.
