We have achieved our first Green Flag. Our Pupil Councillors are all members of the Eco Committee, together with staff, parents and community partners such as East Linton Horticultural Society.
Thank you to Sean Mainwaring and Jaimee Pickard for highlighting the Lunch Munch challenge re reducing waste from school packed lunches. Lets hope young people and parents will take up the challenge, do their bit for the environment and maybe win the school a cash prize.
I think this challenge is great!
We use small plastic bags for packed lunches, recycled from buying fruit and veg at Tesco’s. I ask the boys to bring them home and wash them so they can be re-used several times. We tried using little plastic boxes, but the lids kept going missing.
Congratulations to Brandon and Megan who made such a good job of chairing the last Eco committee meeting and writing up the minutes of the meeting. Everyone was really impressed as you handled the responsibility so well.
Hi everyone I would like to mention that tickets forthe East Linton Pantomime are now on sale. If you want to come and see our AMAZING show, the tickets are on sale at the Post Office in the village, for £5 each.
This year everyone has tried really hard to make this production special. It’s different from most years, as it will consist of 2 one-act plays, and songs from the musicals, “Annie”, “The Sound of Music” and “Oliver”. I know it’s going to be a HUGE sucess.
Well Done to ALL the team!!

I think that the energy patrol is a good idea.

I think the wildlife garden is a great idea!
Many thanks to everyone who has helped in all our Eco School projects this year. We are well on our way to achieving Green Flag status.
I hope that we do get our green flag.
