It is a working document and comments and suggestions are gratefully received. A big thank you to the School Travel Team for all their work on putting this together, handling the questionnaires and analysing the results. A hard copy is available at the front of the school - please ask if you would like to see it.It is great to see so many children walking or cycling to school at the moment. October is Walk to School month and all the children have individual diaries and sticker charts to record how they are getting to school. The Junior Road Safety Officers are currently running competitions for the classes on how to keep safe now that the days are getting shorter.

Our focus is being healthy INSIDE AND OUT. So we are not just thinking about physical activity, but also eating well, relaxing and using our minds for creative and mental challenges.
Parents are invited to join in EARLY MORNING AEROBICS at 8.45am each morning. So pop on your trainers and come jump up and down to some good music.
Also if any parents wish to come on our WHOLE SCHOOL WALK, please give your name to your child’s teacher or to Audrey.
Thank you
Miss Fleming
P.S Keep an eye out for photos from our week being posted!

Whole school goes skipping mad May 16, 2008
Posted by elps in : Health , 1 comment so far As our events for Health Week came to an end, the whole school took part in a Skipathon in aid of the British Heart Foundation. We started off in assembly this morning and then groups of children skipped continuously for three hours. We were fortunate with the weather and at the end of the morning the whole school (including the grown ups) came out and joined in the fun. Thanks to Emma, our Active Schools Co-ordinator for helping with our activities this week. These are some of the photos we took:
