East Linton join “Scotland’s Got Talent” Glow Meet December 17, 2009

Today East Linton Primary took part in an inter-school talent show, Scotland’s Got Talent, with a difference: the performers were all still in their classes, taking part via a web conference on Glow, Scotland’s schools network.

Groups from schools including Mid Calder Primary met in the “Glowing Thursdays” Meeting Room, which is used most weeks for staff Masterclasses and other Scotland-wide events.

Four different East Linton acts performed, and enjoyed watching and singing along with their opposite numbers elsewhere while snowflakes landed outside, just like in the logo!

The acts were fantastic, we had Eden, Ruth and Rachel doing a spectacular dance to ” I got a feelin” by the black eyed peas, Eddi and Cleodie Dance to “All I want for Christmas is you” and Cleodie and Nikki sang Jingle bell rock beautifully! We had a great afternoon and really enjoyed seeing all the other acts. Can’t wait for the next one! :-)
