Parents of children in P2C and P2D are invited to attend their child’s assembly at 9.15am. Parents of children in P2A and P2B are invited to attend their child’s assembly at 11.15am. P7 ‘Enterprise Is The Business’ Day February 6, 2008
Posted by Sarah Wong in : Enterprise, P7 , 10commentsP7 attended an Enterprise Day on Tuesday 22nd January 2008 at Haddington Corn Exchange. They had a very successful day, designing and manufacturing products to sell to a group of buyers. The children worked in teams and each had a role, from Managing Director to Finance Officer everyone had a vital role to play in the success of their team. Congratulations to ‘Dunburgh’ who won the prize for the team with the most profit at close of business and also to ‘Money Monkeys’ who won the prize for design quality of their products.
Everyone learned a great deal about teamwork, leadership, co-operation as well as how to manage a business and the mathematical side of buying and selling! All in all, a fantastic experience. We are planning another fabulous enterprise event in the summer term for P7 so watch this space!
