We had very useful Exc-el Open meeting this evening.
Look out for our forthcoming skype (or equivalent) conference - Ollie Bray will be setting this up - participants are welcome.
For me one of our most significant decisions was to move from Exc-el.org.uk to edubuzz.org during the Easter break.

We discussed the permission forms which parents will be asked to sign to enable their children to participate and have their images displayed on school websites.

The recent Scottish Executive additional funding (£800,00) released to schools in East Lothian has resulted in a spate of purchases of interactive whiteboards.
Ewan MacIntosh put up a link to some research which suggests that interactive whiteboards haven’t made a significant impact upon the teaching and learning process.
