Teacher’s TV and other resources
Oct 16th, 2007 by Don Ledingham
I’ve been putting up some additional links to provide easy access to a range of educational research resources.
One of these resources is Teacher’s TV which frm what I can see in Scotland is a most under-rated and under-used facility. I recently came across this interview with Tim Brighouse who remains one of the most influential figures in my own development as an educational leader.

I’d welcome any other suggestions for educational research resources which I would place on this site..
Don,
I agree about the value of Teachers TV. This post is a good prompt for us to do something about it.
Over the years we have discussed how to get some Scottish content developed for Teachers TV. Maybe our focus should have been on how to make best use of what’s already there.

My only disappointment with Teacher TV is that you can’t post your own educationaal videos al la YouTube. I think this would be an excellent addition - now if we could set up something like that in Scotland………………..?

Hi Don,
TeacherTube is already filling that market, although it would be great to have suggested viewing next to Teachers TV videos.
I managed to get the sum total of two programmes made for Teachers TV on “The Scottish Experience” of MFL teaching and learning, and CPD. We also link extensively to MFL-related programmes in the MFLE
www.ltscotland.org.uk/mfle). Next comes the task of linking out to even more videos in other areas of the LTS Online Service.
