The Aye Phone?

Perhaps John Connell in his new role with Cisco Systems could prevent any confusion between Apple and Cisco about who owns the rights to the “iPhone” by using the Scottish terminology.

iRight!
Alan beat me to it! The ‘Aye Right’ Phone might be closer given its price.
It’s not just the price: John Naughton makes these points in his Networker column in yesterday’s Observer::
And in the same paper Armando Iannucci reveals some innovative features of the new iPhone that most reviews of the launch event didn’t even get round to mentioning!
Love the Ianucci article - I was truly gobsmacked at the avalanche of adulation from Mac fanboys/girls (on the net and within the media) following the Jobs keynote. I’m just glad that finally some of the criticism is finally coming through over the usual Apple flaws - ie, it’s expensive, crippled through DRM, and locked out to third party developers.
