Line Dancing for Health Week June 4, 2009
Posted by Dirleton Pupil in : Uncategorized , 1 comment so farOn Wednesday the 3rd every one took part in line dancing with Mrs Middleton. We went into two groups, P1/2/3/4 and P5/6/7. We had two competitions to see who’s the, best teacher/ parent and to see who’s better, the boys or the girls. We had a great time.

Yellowcraig Litter Pick Up June 3, 2009
Posted by Dirleton Pupil in : Uncategorized , add a comment The whole School walked down to Yellowcraig and met Dave Wild for a litter pick-up. We split up into 8 groups and got 50 metres of land to cover. We all set off with litter pickers and gloves, the leader had a sheet of paper to note down our findings. Altogether the weight of the bin bags made 17kg. Our results will go to the Marine Conservation Society.By Owen Sam and Hannah M

Posted by hgordon in : Uncategorized , 1 comment so far Hurray! We’re Flying our Green Flag.On Friday the 27th we had a Flag raising ceremony and lots of community members and parents joined us. We celebrated by singing some of our Eco songs and reminding everybody of the Dirleton Eco code. We are very proud of our achievements and all the pupils are enjoying the benefits of our fabulous grounds.

Comic Relief 09 March 17, 2009
Posted by Dirleton Pupil in : Home , 1 comment so far This year for Comic Relief our school focused on Do Something Funny For Money.We had people tell jokes, silly dances and funny songs. We are selling baking for the next 2 weeks. All the money will go to Comic Relief.

We are trying to raise funds so that we can buy books for the school.When Lindsay was here she read some books to each class and if we were good we would get hot chocolate and a biscuit.By Daniel P7
