last night at the youth club, 11 of us went to the falkirk fire station. we went along and got split into two groups. then my group went to the fire engine and we got to ride around in it. then we got a shot of the hose and talya jump in front of it! then we got to see all the stuff inside and after that we went and got shown round inside the station. we got to go to the little sweety shop place and all got a chocolate bar. then we went into the big green metal fire house. it was really dark. they light it on fire and then run in and train for a real emergancy. it was really dark and dirty and we got to go and see a fake body. it was REALLY REALLY heavy!! it took about 5 of us just to lift it a tiny bit of the gorund! then we met mrs duffys son!!!!!!!! it was a great night.

the other week we went to a concert thing called choices for life. we went along and there were over 7000 children there. we sat down and then they had a fake fire drill lol. there were two presenters and through out the whole day we saw snippets of a video about a girl called stacey who started to take drugs and she got in huge trouble for it. we also saw videos about a true story when a boy called paul started to take drugs and stuff because his dad was neglecting him. it was really sad. but we had a game of family fortunes. it was the simpson family againts the adams family. it was just pretend familys. half the hall was on the adams family side *us* and the other half were the opponents. every time our family got it right we would all shout and stamp our feet at the other side it was so fun! there were singers all through the like bell’s boys and a scottish singer but i have forgot her name. haha. there was also a REALLY good play. there were three main characters and it showed their time throuh high school. one of the girls started to take drugs and then the others did it to but one of them died and then at the end they all stood up and said ‘we used to be like you. we used to have a futre. make the right choices’ and i was nearly crying! it was great! then it was the best part! LIL CHRIS PLAYED! he came out and sang two songs, one of which was ch ch ch ch ch checking it out! lol. it was so good! we were all jumping around lyk mad! then we all got goody bags and went back to skl.

tonight was the accent on schools show at the falkirk town hall! we all had to wait for about 2 hours in the dressing room upstairs. we shared a room with st josephs primary and graham high. some of the schools were showing off by doing their dances so we all crowded round and chanted stuart while he brakdanced. the graham high people came over and one of them began breakdancing too so it bacame a dance off! evryone was doing flips and stuff! we won!!!!! then carronshore and graham high just sort of showed evryone what we could all do and some of the people in our school got offered a place in a cheerleading squad! then graham high started this thing called ride a pony. it was really good and we all played it. then it was our turn on stage!! we lined up and it went really well! then when we got back graham high went on so we played ride the pony. mrs mwinnie and mrs webster and mrs shuttleworth joined in! it was really great.

Me and my class are at the computer suite right now (it’s amazing that Mrs V’s class isnt in here!) and we are looking up facts on Australia. Seen as me, Claire, Rachel and Nicole are doing a group project on australian celebrations and australian slang I thought I would look up some slang. Here are some of the things i found out.

A - ‘amber fluid’ means beer

B - ‘bunyip’ is an australian yetti or bigfoot

C - ‘chook’ means chicken

D - ‘dunny’ means toilet

E - ‘esky’ means a cool box to keep beer and things cold

F - ‘full as a boot’ means drunk

G - ‘garbo’ is a person who collects your dustbin

H - ‘hoo-roo’ is another way of saying goodbye

I - ‘idiot box’ is what they call a t.v

J - ‘i’ll job you’ means i’ll hit you

K - ’kiwi’ is a person from New Zealand

L - ‘lurk’ means a scheme

M - ‘middy’ is a word for a 285ml beer glass

The p7s are going away on a trip to a place called Ardeoniag! We leave at playtime on friday and come back on monday at 2 o’clock-ish! I am in a dorm with Lisa L, Jeanan V, Chloe D, Rachael M, Danni W and Nicola K! Its gona be real fun! I will write a diary and copy it up on here so you know what we do. Okay see yooh later!

As you probably know I live in Falkirk. We have a big festival once a year here called Big In Falkirk. It is at Callander Park and there are street performers, bands playing and food wagons. This year me and Rebecca are going on saturday and then we are going again on sunday and we will meet up with our friends Nathan and Chloe D. Nicole says she might come too. it is only on for a weekend and some really big bands play there. Last year Tony Christie played *he sang ‘is this the way to Amarillo* and there will be big bands this year too probably. it is going to be really fun. i would advise that if you are in falkirk this weekend that you go to callender park because the Big In Falkirk festival because its really good!!!!!

This year I went to big in falkirk with Rebecca. First we went up on the bus with my mum and my sister. That was about 2 o’clock. Then me and Rebecca went off by ourselves when we got there and we went and saw a show. It was a man and a woman acting out as cinema people. They pretended to sell popcorn and they danced. Then they ran behind the curtain and changed. They did a fake film called the gansters mole. The girl put on a dress and a furry feather bower and the man wore a suit. He acted being a barman and she ran in running from a bad man called Mr Big. But Mr Big kidnapped her and then the barman saves her. It was really good! And very funny because it kept going wrong! Then we went round the food and jewellery stalls. I bought a red glittery cowboy hat and Rebz got a purple one. Then we got chips and a drink! Then I saw a no needle no pain tatoo stall. I stood in the line with Rebecca and we paid £4 each for a tatoo. I got a           multi-coloured fairy on my back and rebz got a rose pattern. Most of Rebeccas tatoo has come off but mine is still there! Then we hung around and ran around the golf course. Then we watched human league and went home.

Me and Dani and Rebecca go to guides on a thursday night 6 till9. Its really fun! Tonight Danni was off because she was ill. She has been off school for a couple of days but she says she is better and she is coming back tomorrow! But me and Rebecca went tonight and everyone made their own fires and me and Rebecca made our own! Then we toasted marshmallows and because I dont like marshmallows I toasted them then gave them all to Rebecca! She ate like 3 packets! Next week we are going to another guides to have a campnight and have a barbie and stuff! I am all sticky now because of the marshmalows and I stink of smoke! Im gonna have to wash my hair AGAIN when I washed it last night! Okay i had better go do that! bye x.x.x.x.x.x.x.x..x.x.x 

I recently told you about the school photos. The photos went really well! We havnt seen them yet because they still have to be developed I think. My class had to go along to the big hall where all the camera things were set up. We all lined up and got sorted into our sizes. I was the tallest girl…..as usual. Then all the girls got placed in the first bench. They had to sit down and hold their hands neatly. Then the school photographer took my hand and he led me up and got me to stand on the next bench right in the middle. Then he placed all the boys around me and in front of me so it turned out that there were girls sitting down in the first row then boys standing on the floor in the second row then boys and me in the middle standing on beches in the top row. Then after lunch the falkirk herald photographer came to take our photo for the paper. We had to stand in the same places but nicole and a boy *i cant remember who but they are in the paper!* had to sit forward on the ground. I think it will look really good. Mrs Sheerin was in both photos. I will see if i can put our class photo up on this blog. I hope so! bye .x
