As The Days Grow Closer And Closer Until The Opening Night And The Curtains Go Up All The Members Of The Theatre Company Are Mixed Emotions, Nervous and Excited!! For Me I Am Not Really That Nervous At The Moment But I Will Be Nervous, I Am Also Very Excited Aswell!! We Have Dress And Technical Rehersals On Sunday 31st January, It Lasts  For About 10 Hours! It Is A Long Day! We Also Have Another Dress Rehersal On Monday 1st February That Lasts Just 3 Hours! Not As Long! On The Opening Night Tuesday 2nd February We Have All To Meet At The Falkirk Town Hall For 5:30pm! It Is The Same All Week!! So Break A Leg Everyone!!!!!!!! xx

The Monster Ball Tour is the second concert tour by American recording artist Lady GaGa to promote her second studio album, The Fame Monster. The tour was officially announced on October 15, 2009, after her joint concert tour with rapper Kanye West, titled Fame Kills, was suddenly canceled. Described by Gaga as “the first-ever ‘pop electro opera’”, The Monster Ball began four days after the release of The Fame Monster. Rapper Kid Cudi and singer Jason DeRulo were confirmed as the supporting act for the American stop of the tour, while the band Alphabeat will support the UK stop of the tour. Gaga and her production team developed a stage that looks like a frame with forced perspectives and everything for the show fitted within it. She felt that the design would allow her creative control. Since the album dealt with the paranoias faced by Gaga over the year, the main theme of the show became evolution, with Gaga portraying growth as the show progressed. She compared the setting of the stage with that of a hollowed-out television set. Elements of the cancelled tour with Kanye West were incorporated in some parts. The set list of the tour consisted of songs from The Fame Monster as well as her debut album The Fame.

The show was divided into five segments with the last one being the encore. Each segment featured Gaga in a new dress and was followed by a video interlude, portraying Gaga in Gothic and artsy poses, to the next one. The show began with Gaga appearing from behind an electric maze of lights. It continued with acoustic piano playing, dancing in costumes made of guns, Cleopatra style head gears and fairy-tale Rapunzel style hair. Contemporary critics praised the show, commending Gaga’s singing abilities and sense of style and fashion. They were also impressed by the pompousness and the theatricality of the show, comparing it to the tours of artists like Madonna.

As we all know Christmas is a very special time of year because it honors the birth of Jesus. At Christmas modern customs of the holiday include:

• Gift Giving
• Church Celebrations
• Decorations Such As:  Tree, Lights, Miseltoe and More.

As we know The Nativity Scene is all about the Birth of Jesus.  Alot of Churches have a manger, but they leave it empty until Christmas Day to reflect that Jesus had not been born yet. Alot of people put it on as a show like - Schools, Theatre Groups, Churches and more.

Father Christmas as we all know is Santa Claus. Every Christmas Eve he goes around the world in 1 night and delivers all the presents to the children and on Christmas Morning we get up and Santa Claus has been to our houses. Some people put out a Carrot and a Glass of Milk and a cookie so Santa can give His Reindeer the Carrot and the Glass of milk and the cookie to himslef.

I would just like to say to eveyone, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR.

On the 3rd of November the school took pupils who only took Drama and P.E in 2nd up to 6th year to go and see Mary Poppins in the Edinburgh Playhouse.  It was really good I was sitting in STALLS, ROW U, SEAT 23 which is really good seats.  It only cost £15 for a ticket.  It was nothing like the Movie Version of Mary Poppins it was different.  The costumes, songs, actors and sets were amazing!  I would go and see it again if it comes back to Scotland. Hi folks I know I have not been talking for a long time I have been really busy with school stuff.  I would just like to say that I will be in a production of Cinderella And The Birkenstocks in January tickets cost £7 for Adult and £6 for Concession it is Big Bad Wolf’s 2nd production.  Finally I have been offered a principle part for a show I will be playing a dance instructor called Floyd Harvey.  The show has got a twist in it it is not like the Disney Movie Cinderella it is more modern and funny.  It is at the Falkirk Town Hall on 20th to the 24th of January 2009.  Here is a summary of what it is about.

“Who dances in glass slippers?” That’s what Cinderella thinks. This wacky modern adaptation of the classic tale has a twist where an impossible Cinderella terrorises her sweet stepmother and studious sisters. When the Prince announces he is having a ball they try to keep Cinderella home, not out of spite but for fear of embarrassment. Things take an interesting and hilarious turn when Paula ‘Abdulla’ turns up as her Fairy Godmother and with the help of Simon ‘Howell’ try to turn Cinderella into an elegant
young lady till the stroke of midnight.

Well, last week was my first week in 2nd year it was alright, as you know the first week back at school is always the worst. On the Tuesday when we started back it was the most worst day I have had in years going back to school. But lets look on the bright side I get to study my subjects which I’ve picked, so that is OK. After that day was over I was so happy. The rest of the week was better than Tuesday. On my timetable Thursday is my favourite. So i’m happy that the first week of school is over. I will write more posts about the exciting things that are happening at Larbert High School.

On Wednesday I went to Alton Towers with Fusion. We left at 5.00am in the morning and got their about 10.15am. We got in and went on The Spinball Whizzer first then we went on the extreme rides like - Air,Nemisis,Oblivion,Rita, Submission, Enterprise,Corkscrew and Ripsaw. They were really fun. Then we had lunch and went on the wet rides like  The Water Rapids And The Flume, then we went on Hex it is a really odd rise becasue you feel like you are upside down but your are not it is just the walls that move. Then we went on Duel it is a ride were you go into a haunted house and your sit in a carrage and you go round the house and try to shoot ghosts and gouls, you get 100 points for every ghost ot gouls you shoot. Then we went home and stopped for dinner we got home about 12.00am in the morning. I hope i will be able to go again!!!!!

Well People It Is Almost Summer. Tomorrow we finish school for 7 weeks. At Larbert High School we go to Period 1 & 2. Then we go to registration to get registered then we go over to the church for the end of term service. I am doing a little performance with the s2 Drama Club we are doing the Happy Prince from Oscar Wilde childrens story. It only lasts for about 13 minutes. Church lasts for about 1 hour. After that it is SUMMER!! I am going to the cinema with some friends from school we are going to see the new Narnia Movie Prince Caspian. So if I don’t speak to you during the holidays, Have a great Summer.

All this week and last week I have been at my Dancing Displays! I have been performing in front of about 500 people. It has been great, they only last for 4 nights eack week. There have been lots of performances at the Falkirk Town Hall for the Dancing Displays there have been Linlithgow,Denny,Camelon,Larbert And Falkirk. It has been a very important show becasue it has been 50 years since Stenhouse School Of Dance was established in 1958 so it is Stenhouse’s Golden Anniversary. I have been in the Larbert And Falkirk Dancing Displays. At Larbert the type of dancing I was doing was Freestyle and dancing to the song ” Like It Like This ” it was great. I was the only boy in the Larbert Dancing Show. In the Falkirk Dancing Show the type of dancing was Tap I was dancing to the song from the sold movie Hairspray it was called  “Nicest Kids In Town”. Tonight is the last performance for all of the shows. The dancing starts back after the school holidays. So that is a long wait. I will keep you updated about the last night.
