This post is just to make sure you know what my class has been up to over the past few weeks.

Well I have and some others in my class have been studying really hard to pass our maths test, we all did very well.

We also have been doing atopic on Australia. We got to see a few things from Australia. In Art we were painting boomerangs, and have done other things to do with Australia. Check the main blog to see the digiridoo.

In class we got a story out and we had to finish it and choose an ending. The story was called The Bushfire and it was about some children that got stuck in the middle of the fire with no way to get out. Then we had to finish the story and choose one of these endings.

 Choice 1. Happy Ever After.

Choice 2. Fear And Excitement.

Choice 3. Sadness.

Choice 4. Unexpectedly Surprise.

Or you could make up your own ending.

I made up my own ending. I did use the endings there but I made it fear then I made it happy again. I quite liked my story. I thought it was quite interesting.

FACT 1

A baby Kangaroo measures about 2 centimetres when it is just born.

In the easter holidays I mainly stayed at my friend Lisas house and she stayed at mine. When she stayed at my house my big sister had a friend staying too. We went to an animal farm called Palaceriggs and we went to the beach. When we went to the beach I got all sun burn but Lisa got a tan. In the Easter holiday me and Lisa tried to cycle every day but we didn’t manage too, so I kind of just did everything with Lisa in the Easter holidays. I got four easter eggs this year.

Today we went to Calendar House for our school trip. Primary 7S/B went on Monday, 7S went on Thursday and we went today. We went to study World War II. It was good you had to put on a hat and a jumper if you were a girl and if you were a boy the same but in a different style. We had to pretend that we were an evacuee. It was really funny. Then we went to a different room and we were told to try and tell the lady what the object was that she gave us that was quite hard!

I read my story as I was someone that hadn’t read it and this is what I noticed.  I read over my story and I thoght it was pretty good when I wrote it,  I thought it was good but then when I typed it  I noticed that I had made a few mistakes. So I have changed them so have a look.

My first star is: That it is quite exciting!

My second star is: I like my cliff hanger at the end!

I liked the part on my story when Angela became good but it wasn’t her that did it,it was Amy.

Yesterday it was Miss Goodsirs last day at our school. We were all very sad and we all think that she will make a very good teacher. We will all miss her very much.

Well I am doing my talk on life for an evacuee. My first fact is that if you were an evacuee you had to get a name tag so that everyone knew who you were. Now I will write the second one that you had to be picked to live with someone and you had to do as they said.

 Today we were doing national testing. I was sitting my level E, I dont know if I past yet but fingers crost. I tell you about the rest of my day on my next post.

Today it is red nose day so everyone had to try and were RED so most people did and we are making a penny trail around the school.

The penny trailwas a sucess and we managed to get a trail going all the way around the school two and a half times. A long way isn’t it. We don’t know howmuch we collected becauseweare syill counting it. So it should be on my blog later. So wish us good luck to see how much money we raised. Lets hope we raised alot.

Well today we had maths first and we went to the computer suite to type some stuff about what we have been doing in maths lately this week you can see what I typed by viewing my maths wikispaces. My maths group is called the Denominators.

Then after break we read Alice in Wonderland. We read two chapters aloud to get them finished so that we are able to set our natinal tests. I am trying to get my level E in reading. So wish me luck. During that we had a dentist in to check our teeth. My teeth were fine.

Then after lunch we read a story about world war II. Then we went to music and sang a song about world war II again because we are studying world war II then for the rest of the day we done stuff on the blog!

Well I got a comment of one of my classmates. Lisa she left me a comment to tell me my blog was good so far. So thank you to Lisa.

I also got a comment of my teacher Mrs Vass saying I have done quite alot of stuff on my blog and only got my blog yesterday. So thank you for all of your comments and please keep on leaving me comments.

Well today in class we had an eco assembly. To tell us what our school is doing to help the wildlife around our school. Then after break we had maths but instead of putting the answers in our jotters we put them in our mobile phones!! cool or what!! Then after lunch we had a person in to talk about the rainforest it was actually pretty interesting! I learned quite a bit like the difference between what the children are like there and what we are like, some of the children don’t have any toys so people that are from this country go over to help them and give them lots of things to help them like toys, clothes & stuff to help them read and write. We also learned that there are alot of dangerous animals there which the people are not really afraid of but we would be.

I am going to tell you a little bit about myself. First I am 11years old and I go to Carronshore primay school, I like to do gymnastics and I am quite good. So this is my blog to tell you what my school does every day.
