Today Mrs Vass Asked me to go to Airth Castle. To do a talk on blog infront of head teacher . I am looking forward to it but I’ll be scared if I do something wrong so I am preparing myself!! I tell you more about it tomorrow!

In our class some people are going to Airth castle to talk about the blog I think blogs are a good thing well because of all diffrent these are my reasons.

We first started blogs at the start of p7v. At first it was fun and all we had was wiki spaces and the main blog. After a while we found links to other blogs  from our blog. Then we found how to get pictures on it. That was then , know we have our own blogs , friends in Australia and friends from other schools. This is what we use………………

Lg shine phone- we got from lg shine blog.

camera phone - we got from learning teaching scotland.

mp3 players - to interview our visiter for the blog.

laptop - we use laptops if there is no computers free.

flicr - for our pictures to put on the blog.

bubble share - for slide shows of our photos.      etc……..

There is so much things we use that it is so hard to remember them all , but thats a good thing because we use all these to help us learn in a diffrent way in tecnolighy and computers. It’s a great way to learn it’s more interestingand fun instead of text book work. Having our own blog lets you say how you learn and shows what you have learned. I think it’s more effective and you can always look back and see what you’ve done. It’s helping us learn tecnolighy for the future. If we didn’t have the blog we wouldn’t  have all this and friends in Australia we would only use text books .So I think blogs are the future for learning!!                                         

We are now in another compition for a second Lg shine phone .The first one helped us so well that we want  another one. All we have to do is get people to put a comment on our photo and the oerson with the most votes gets the Lg shine phone.

I am going to be doing my level E maths test  I DON’T know how I will do but I feel I might pass but then again I probably wont, I am hoping for the best I will have to do some fractions and things to make me even more ready!!                                                                                          

Last night we went to Carronvale house it was an i.c.t fair compition! We went from 3:00 to 6:00 it was a good time . you had to show people how we use the blog what things we use like camera, podcasts , bubbleshare , flicker , videos , other blogs and so much more. Lots of people came to our stall and we showed them everything we had to offer it was a great night! We got silver prize it was a great prize and I will let you know more about the prize after we have used it!!Carronvale House!!

In class we done a story about a bush fire and some children that were caught up in it. it was continued from a text book. You had to chose a ending here are the ones you could chose.

Happy ever after ,  Fear and excitement ,  Sadness ,  unexpectedly surprised .

The one that I chose was the sadness because I thought it was a story that you new would have a sad ending so thats what I done. I think it is a good story !!! I enjoyed writing it , it was good because you got a idea 

In Australia there is 350,000 people that live in Australia.there were 30,000 designs made for the Australian flag but this was the one that was chosen. Australia is the sixth largest  nation after Russia , Canada , China , the United States of America and Brazil. Australia is the driest inhabitat in the world and has the lowest rainfalls in the world. There was in all 160,000 men and women brought to Australia as convicts from 1788 until penal transport ended in 1868.

 Australia ! In class we are doing are project on Australia. This is partly because of our blogging friends Alstars. I think it will be great to find out about Australia and what they do . I do not know alot about Australia and I think I will enjoy learning about it . It would be nice if bloggers in Australia would comment and help me along the way to learning about your country!!

In the easter holidays I didn’t go anywhere I stayed at home and played with my friends. The friends I played with are Daniel , Stuart , Rebecca and lots more . I got 2 easter a cream egg one and a flake one . They were so good and I have finished them .The flake one was so nice I ate it first and after it I had a sore tummy here is a picture of it yummy!

Today we went to Callendar House as a school trip it was great. We found out about somethings about ww2. We saw items in ww2 they were cool and we found out loads. After that we had to get dressed up and in old ww2 clothes they itched. We had to think we were in ww2 and were evacuated . We got an id card and a tag. It was so fun and everyone had to do it. So all in all  it was a brilliant day!!!

In school today I sat my level E national test in reading. I dont know how I have done yet but I am wishing for the best. After break we done gym. I was in a group with some other girls in my class.We done some cool tricks. Just as we were showing the gym teacher our gymnastics a boy in my class accidently kicked me but I am ok and he said sorry so that was ok.This afternoon we should be getting french and maths so I am having a easy afternoon.

Today was red nose day and i made my own top.We also done a trail of money round the school. It was great fun and since I am my schools photographer ,I had to go and take pictures of it all and all the young children to older children loved it!! Thank you all the teachers and helpers for planing it and the children for bringing in the money.                                                                                                                                                            THANK YOU!!!
