Do you have a craft project which you can’t seem to finish? Or would you like some inspiration to get started ?
Craft Clinic is an informal, drop-in group with lots of space and materials to try out new crafts, such as jewellery, felt and cardmaking. Bring along something you’re working on or join in one of our how-to sessions, while enjoying a filter coffee/exotic tea and plenty of cake. All for £1.50!!
You’ll find us in the annexe lounge at Fisherrow Centre on Thurs mornings from 9.15-1pm. Come and get some creative therapy!

New Year’s come and gone…how about that resolution to get out and get fit? Well, isn’t it just about time now, with the lighter evenings and fine (!) weather just ’round the corner to pull on your trainers and join a small group of parents to walk locally and beyond…?

Your goals can be modest or mighty!

Last year six campie parents completed the Moonwalk (26.2 miles). Before ‘training’ nobody had completed a marathon.
Initially walks were 1-2 miles once or twice per week (depending on other commitments) around Musselburgh; the distances were gradually increased.
Everyone enjoyed the walks: lots of chat and feeling destressed and full of energy at the end of it…a great way to finish the day!
Finding time can be difficult to start with, but once you get going, walking with one, two or more, you won’t want to miss your walk…

At the school gate, this week and next, a few parents will be asking if anyone’s interested in trying out a walk in the week or a Sunday.
Hope to hear from you!

Hi everyone,

A very quick note to encourage you all to try out the craft clinic. It’s great to have an excuse to set a couple of hours aside to do all those things you never get around to doing. Don’t think you have to be arty to come along - some of us just have a coffee and a chat. It’s a lovely, friendly group and everyone would be made welcome. So go on, give it a try! We’re there every Thursday.

Just wanted to say what a great evening we had watching the P3s do their rendition of ‘Joseph’ at Stoneyhill CC last night.
It’s been a labour of love for Luke Hunter and his family and friends for a good while now, and their preparations and rehearsals certainly paid off!
Ticket sales and donations also raised over £300 for school funds-
an impressive amount.
The performers sang their hearts out and the audience cried for more.
We enjoyed tea and cakes at the interval, served up by a posse of glamorous Campie mums (!), and it was a really lovely community event.
Thanks for organising it, Judith and Hugh, and WELL DONE to all the children who took part - Campie’s Got Talent!!
