Well, everyone, including Ms. MacFarlane has started the New Year with a PSP! P6/7 is taking part in a project to see how the PSPs may be used in a way to facilitate our learning (in collaboration with Learning and Teaching Scotland and ELC). In week one we were introduced to using the PSPs and had a go at the ‘practice’ part of Hot Brain. Hot Brain includes timed challenges under the headings of Memory, Maths, Language, Logic and Concentration. We completed short questionnaires to see in what areas we would like to improve and talked about if we felt Hot Brain could actually help in areas of our school work. This past week we began to record our scores for the tasks and did the Hot Brain ‘test’- I know of at least one person who registered as having a ‘Red Hot’ brain temperature!

I am really enjoying using the PSPs in class. Today we learnt how to use the cameras to take pictures and videos. Its a great opportunity to play while learning:):):)

Hey, it’s Iona. The PSPs are so fun!!!! Hot Brain’s really good and I’m getting better at the Memory section but i think i need to improve on the Logic section. Back Seat Driver is so hard!! The cameras are great and I’m looking forward to record my interview with my Papa about WW2.

the psps are really cool.I think i need to pratise logic and lanuague im good at pinball wizard and untangle it is so easy.the cameras are quite cool i like what you can do with the cameras like sketch mode and black and white
