We have been celebrating World Book Day in P5 this week. It was on Thursday 6th March. We all dressed up as our favourite character from our favourite book and had fun swaping books with each other for the day.
We have started to read a class novel called Holes (Louis Sachar) and one of our tasks on Thursday was to design a new front cover for the book based on what we knew of the story so far. everyone made a fantastic effort with the covers - look out for them on the website soon!
We were all given book tokens to spend on a book of our choice. Happy spending!

We recently had our school science week which we all really enjoyed. Our topic was sound and light. We took part in lots of experiments in class and we even had a visiting show called ‘Good Vibrations’. Maestro and his assistant showed us how sound travelled through different materials. We especially liked the rap we created at the end of the show.
We are continuing to look at sound and light in class for the next few weeks. We will post some pictures on the website soon so you can see what we’ve been doing

Tomorrow is Golden ‘Well Done Campie’ Day and we have lots of exciting things planned for the day. We decided as a class what we wanted to do and each teacher is taking charge of an activity throughout the day.
We are baking, making clay models, watching a DVD and playing basketball games.
We will let you know how it goes!
Happy Valentines Day!
