This year will be our third Christmas Fair and will hopefully be our best yet. It will be held in the school as usual and will provide something for all the family. We are not doing clearance tables, but are asking everyone to clear their cupboards and hand any old toys, books, DVDs etc into the school from Monday, November 23. We will sell everything on the day and ALL money raised will go to the Playground Fund. So please have a pre-Christmas clear out for the playground! All tables sold will be for crafts to provide lots of Christmas presents.
We will do the usual refreshments, with the addition of mince pies (so someone please bake them!) and we may even provide non-alcoholic mulled wine!
We did ask Santa to make an appearance, but he told us he was too busy and can’t even spare an elf, so we’ll do face painting, paint a plate and children’s games to keep the youngsters happy.
The kids always enjoy the fair, and it has proved a very popular event in the past. Thank you everyone who has offered help - we’ll get back to you all nearer the time.
And don’t forget, the Grand Christmas Raffle will be drawn at noon. So please join us at the school for a fun-filled morning, and good luck with the raffle.
PS don’t forget to buy your raffle tickets. For extra books please blog with your child’s class.

Hi there
Thank you so much for asking me to play at the Family Disco, I’m so chuffed at being asked and I’m really looking forward to it.
I’m busy researching what music to play and that in itself is really exciting! I’ve always played a real mixture of music and aim to be able to please all and get everyone up for a dance.
At the moment I’m listening (and jumping around my living room) to Lady Gaga, Kate Perry, Calvin Harris, The Black Eyed Peas and Dizzee Rascal - who are all fantastic! However, I’ll have music with me from the last four decades so we should manage to keep everyone happy!
Hopefully we can have some games on the night and what do people think about dancing competitions?
Anyway, can’t wait!
See you all there!
Sally
