Next installment for the Numeracy London 2009 trip is now overdue. Please ensure that all money is in by the end of term. Any pupil not paid by then runs the risk of losing their place on the trip. See Mr Potter if you are have any problems.

Congratulations to Liam McKechnie, Hilary Andrew, Lauren Hall, Alexander Higgins and Amy Nichol who came 3rd in the recent Stock Market Challenge held in Edinburgh. The five S3 Business Management pupils, accompanied by Miss Wyse, took part in a simulated stock market buying shares and trading in currency. There were 25 schools taking part in the event.
The Ross High Young Enterprise group, Abstract, will be taking part in the annual Young Enterprise Trade Fair. This event takes place on Saturday 6 December from 9.00 am until 3.00 pm at Festival Square on Lothian Road, outside the Sheraton Hotel.
The group will be selling their products at this event which includes santa hats and a cookbook. Please come along and support our young entrepreneurs and perhaps pick up some bargains as Christmas presents from many of the other Young Enterprise companies taking part in the event. Also look out for Abstract stalls at forthcoming school events.
The next instalment for the London 2009 trip is on Friday 28 November. It is important that all payments are made on time.
The theatre visit on this trip has now been confirmed as We Will Rock You!
We would like to bring to the attention of all pupils going on this trip that the dates have been changed and they should have picked up a letter from Mr Potter. The trip will now leave on Tuesday 7 June and return Saturday 13 June.
