The Active Steps celebration on Friday was a real success and showcased the excellent work that Sally Harris has been doing  over the last few years.  I was fortunate enought to be able to give a Preston Lodge HS perspective, discussing the tremendous input we have had from Active Steps this year in particular.

We took time out last Friday to discuss the programme so far.  The main points which arose are summarised briefly below.
It was felt that the programme has positively influenced the behaviour and attitude of some of the students significantly.  School statistics backed up this feeling.  Three students had more than halved the number of incidents of indiscipline [...]

Today at the ALPS induction meeting for students and staff, we ran a short training session to get staff started on using the WordPress system that’s behind this ALPS site.
